Yeah, I remember Don Muraco from the "Wrestling from the Civic" days too.

This Scott Mahoney could be Kaluka and Kai Maiava's father. The father apparently played at Colorado in the late 1960's, so the ages match up.

Note that these are good sized lineman. No 150 lb. linemen here.

Karl Lorch (WFL Hawaiians) is a second team DE.

Joe Hisatake on the second team is related to Ray Hisatake.
Don Muraco was also a wrestling state champ in the second ever wrestling state championships. Individual Champions Record Book

We need the 1995 all-stars. That was one of the best years of Hawaii HS football and featured so many talented faces.

I like this. I have a bunch of old all-star items from when I was with the Advertiser.

How do you scan something that big? If it's not expensive, I'll try it.

Someone, let me know.

Aloha Stacy, sorry for the slow reply and welcome to the Sports Hawaii Ohana! It is so great that you joined us!

My best guess on how cp222 posts the newspapers is that he takes a photo of the newspaper clipping. I'll PM him and ask him to make sure. I'm guessing this by the way it is cropped.

Mahalo,
Scott
