Looks like McCoy has narrowed his choices to Kentucky and Virginia.

We never in the discussion with McCOy other than Scout.com putting us first in his profile.

Realistically, he has been Kentucky bound for awhile.

WTF, damn maybe we could have got Mccoy if we made a push for him. I mean, you got to think that Hawaii, now with Flemming has to look a lot more attractive than SMU.

Kyle Fogg

Post by pikachu »

Kyle Fogg, combo guard from Brea-Olinda, just committed to Arizona. Considered one of the best remaining uncommitted prospects in the country, he had either visited Hawaii or Hawaii had offered him (it's hard to tell from the article). Apparently he also had offers from Kentucky and Indiana. In any event, the penalties from the APR probably eliminated any chance Hawaii had at landing him.

"Fogg has already visited UNLV and Providence, receiving offers from those schools, as well as San Francisco, Fresno State, Hawaii, New Orleans and Oregon State. Trigonis said he is unsure if the UA has offered a scholarship to Fogg or if Fogg would commit shortly."

I don't know if it's a NCAA violation but If it's not then I think coach Nash should send one of his assistants to scout the Iolani Classic next week.

you probably won't be able to get five star recruits like Demarcus Cousins and Renardo Sidney. But maybe you can find a diamond in a rough. A Stephen Curry kind of a player. Who isn't really getting recruited by the major conference schools but possess tons of potential and could probably flourish in the WAC.

Sounds like a pretty good prospect the coaches must like if they're doing a home visit. He sounds like a shooter we could use.

Grabbing Jones from the southeast would be a good pick-up.

Hunter McClintock said that TCU wants him to visit next weekend. He also said he recently heard from Washington State and Arizona State and that Hawaii has been calling.

No loss on McClintock. I rather have a speedy, penetrating guard.

Where are all the inner city Chicago recruits? Isn't that the area that Larry Farmer had the connections for us to recruit in? It seems like we are just hitting up the same pipelines for the RW era. Jackson Wheeler needs to expand his recruiting regions. Maybe it's time to bring on the Brandyn Akana from BYUH with his brother's connections we could bring in some decent international recruits like how we had with Scott Rigot in our glory days.

Nash has got to use what God has given him. He's got a good heart and is a family man. Parents of recruits will appreciate that. Look at Bobby Nash, not only did he want to play for his father, but he didn't want to live on campus, he rather live at home with his parents (probably another consideration is that it's Hawaii Loa ridge). Somebody has to tell Nash, "Dude your black, use that as your recruiting angle." Play the race card and start bringing in the athletic inner city kids who will bring to this program what we have yearned for.

STOP BRINGING IN THESE WHITE PLAYERS LIKE LASHA, JESPERSEN & BALOCKA. WE NEED ATHLETES.
